Last week we went to Bordeaux – for two reasons. The first was to watch the England Vixens play Aussie Rules football in the European championship. Which they won. Those photos I am not posting. The second reason was Bordeaux. Beautiful city, and associated inextricably with wine.
A side benefit is that the evenings are drawing in, and there was a funfair. Put that together with the fact that I have not really done a lot of night time photography and you have a blog. Well, what you actually have is an explanation for the title of the blog, but that is almost the same thing. Isn’t it?
So these first few are including the big wheel
Wandering around Bordeaux I was surprised to see there are 20 statues from the “Another Place” installation by Anthony Gormley
At the riverside, more opportunities. The bridge over the river, as well as the water mirror (Mirroir d’Eau) providing both perfect reflections as well as misting eeriness
Bordeau has much more to offer, so watch this space for wine country and daylight cityscapes. Please feel free to comment or like, just so I don’t feel like I am talking to myself. Which I do a lot.
