Four weeks till retirement, and an afternoon at Hodsocks Priory. It is not really a Priory, and never has been. Also, despite checking, I was not able to find anyone wearing odd socks. So overall it does not live up to its name in any way at all.
However, it is known as a centre for wild flowers, particularly Snowdrops. There are even coach trips. Unfortunately we remembered (or were reminded of) this place in time for the last day it was open for the snowdrops, so they were a little thin on the ground, but nonetheless I managed a few shots with the 18-150 lens. Of course I also took a tripod plus a reflector, and then left them in the car.
